Theoretical High-Energy Physics

Analogous to previous meetings of the network, the conference will start on Thursday (December 3) and will end on Saturday (December 5). There will be three series of lectures, provided by

• Niels Emil Bjerrum Bohr (Niels Bohr International Academy)
  "Structure of Amplitudes in Gravity"
• Jan Louis (University of Hamburg)
  "Generalized compactification of String Theory"
• Alex Maloney (McGill University)
  "Three Dimensional Quantum Gravity"

Furthermore we will have a number of shorter talks by younger researchers.

In addition to the 'official' part of the program, there will be a public lecture on Wednesday evening (December 2) by

• Ulf Danielsson (University of Uppsala)
  "Why do stars and apples fall?"

For the participants that arrive on Wednesday there will be a pedagogical lecture on Thursday morning:

• Diederik Roest (University of Groningen)
  "Picking up speed in string cosmology"
