Properties of Schroedinger Space-times

Schroedinger space-times play an important role in recent studies of non-relativistic holography. These space-times are characterized by a dynamical exponent z which measures the different way in which space and time scale. I will show that for scaling dimensions 12 there exists no global timelike Killing vector. For z=2 I will construct a time-independent global coordinate system. The boundary geometry in this global coordinate system makes manifest the phenomenon of harmonic trapping in non-relativistic CFT's which plays an important role in the operator-state correspondence. Finally, I will discuss the construction of a Hilbert space for scalar modes in global coordinates and discuss some issues relating to the causal structure of the space-time.
