Title: 
Multiple problems with multiple sectors in supergravity
Abstract: 

In gravity-mediated supersymmetry or supergravity cosmologies, one has multiple sectors that only communicate gravitationally. I explain how these sectors should be embedded into supergravity such that this coupling is minimal. In principle these sectors should decouple in the limit where the Planck mass goes to infinity. In practice, this limit is delicate: for generic supergravities the separate superpotentials must contain a non-zero expectation value compared to the global supersymmetric field theory expression. We show that these constant terms induce non-trivial scaling in the naive superpotential couplings. In inflationary scenarios, the gravitational coupling between sectors reduces the robustness of the second slow-roll parameter eta, upon which I will derive some bounds.
