A Cosmic Microwave Bonanza: Planck and ACT, SPT, WMAP9

We have learned about the material content and the genesis of structure in the universe with increasing precision from a series of cosmic microwave background experiments since the Planck Surveyor was conceived in the early nineties. The March 2013 first cosmology release of the long anticipated Planck data and the only slightly less recent release of final results from the ACT, SPT and WMAP experimental campaigns have made a further great leap forward, so I will focus attention on what has been revealed by these experiments and on our next steps.
