Correlation Functions of Cosmological Perturbations in Stochastic Inflation

The stochastic inflation formalism consists in modelling the quantum effects on the dynamics of the long wavelength perturbations by a stochastic noise. After reviewing the main aspects of this approach, I will show how one can use it to calculate all scalar correlation functions. The classical, standard results appear as a saddle-point limit of the stochastic theory, and I will characterise the regimes where the classical calculation is valid. The result also reveals quantum gravitational corrections, shedding new light on how inflationary predictions are modified at very high energy, or in a very flat region of the potential. I will comment on their potential observational consequences.
